We made it
Here we are at Steve and Lisa's in KC. We found some nice back roads to get here that enabled us to bypass the Kansas Turnpike ($$$). Stopped at a nice road side rest stop for lunch. The historic marker talks about this area of Kansas having the largest section of original prairies that are still used to fatten cattle each spring.
We will visit here for a day and then head to Carbondale, IL to see Janet's Dad and oldest Sister and some of her family.
